Welcome to my Corner

The idea of creating a new blog have always been my head for a long time now. Alas, here I am at WordPress publishing my first post. Now there are several reasons that made me create a blog now rather than sooner or later

1000 Views!!! Finally! Haha!

This may not be a big deal to you guys but it is to me! Just realized that this blog has just reached the 1000 views mark. Yeah! Wow, never expected it to reach that amount of views.

I just passed the 10,000 views mark LOL…. just finished browsing through all my post since November last year. Wow, I notice how my style of posts changed….

One year Odyssey…

I just realized that few days ago (November 15) marks the first year anniversary of this blog! Holy F***! It has been one year? A year ago I was bored and sitting in front of my computer while starting this blog. Now…I’m still bored and sitting in front of my computer writing this post…some shit never change

I want to write a story…

Anyway, I’ve been thinking lately..well ok….not that lately but for few years about coming up with an ultimate story. A ‘Magnum Opus’ you could say. I’m not planning to become an author when I grow up because I don’t see myself writing stories for a living. Besides, my writing skills sucks and my English is not fabulous. But you know, I hope I’ll have a free time in the future to write a story or a script or direct a movie or simply just able to come up with a story that my kids can tell to their children (boy, now I’m going far ahead!!)….

What if our solar system is actually an atomic structure? It’s an idea that captivated me since I was young. Well that simple idea led to another question; What happens when you zoom out of the solar system? Well, you’ll see that it is just one of the billions of solar systems in the milky way, which itself, is simply one of the many galaxies in the universe. What if you continue to zoom out? Does the universe have any boundaries?

I have a dream…

Have you ever dream about a place and you’re like ‘I think I’ve been here before’. There is this place that I keep visiting in my dreams.  This place is sort of a shopping mall but it’s also a library, a hotel and even a school. I’ve visited this ‘place’ since I was kid. They aren’t identical dreams but I know it’s the same place that I visit in other dreams. In most of the dreams, I visit this large fountain which is situated in the center of this ‘place’.

We all know what happened to Benazir Bhutto, the former prime minister of Pakistan. It’s such a tragic event in Pakistan. Things went from bad to worse over there.

But I know they’re not new, it’s just that I haven’t watch RTB news in ages thus I didn’t recognize any of the news readers. Gone are the familiar older newsreader I grew up with (the guy with the moustache and glasses, the guy who sort of looks like my friend’s dad, the lady with contact lenses eyes doing the ‘Consumer’ section and THE sports guy…Hj Malik, I think that’s his name..he’s THE MAN when it comes to SEA games or football coverage).

Democracy…a good concept but when it comes to putting in practice, other factors needs to be considered such as the traditions of the society, the mindset of the people, the time factor (implementing in stages).

Lost Civilization & Alternative History

I eventually stumbled upon this book, The Mars Mystery by Graham Hancock. It proposed a theory that there was an advanced civilization on Mars that vanished after a cataclysmic event. But what fascinated me more was the idea of a connection between the Martian civilization and our own past civilization (notably the Egyptian civilization). Little did I know that this book was just part of a series of books by the author who championed the so called ‘lost civilization theory’. Thus, my journey through genres of alternative history, paranormal, conspiracy and general mysteries of the universe began.

Case of Blogging

Blogging, just like any other piece of writing you do or anything you say, comes from you. Therefore, it’s your opinion and it’s your responsibility. So don’t go “hey, it’s blogging. Not my fault“.

“How do you become smart and get good grades? What do you do?” I got asked that question by my mom’s friend, whose child isn’t doing well in school, few days ago. I seriously don’t know how to answer that question. I said that you must have a passion for studying But honestly, I only said that just for the sake of having an answer.
