I guess we now have the complete lineup (well, at least the major ones) for Marvel’s upcoming superhero team up movie, The Avengers (May 4, 2012).
Captain America – Chris Evans (Fantastic Four, Sunshine)

Solo movie – The First Avenger: Captain America (July 22, 2011)
Captain America was the alter ego of Steve Rogers, a sickly young man who was enhanced to the peak of human perfection by an experimental serum in order to aid the United States war effort. Captain America wears a costume that bears an American flag motif, and is armed with an indestructible shield that can be thrown as a weapon.
Iron Man – Robert Downey Jr.

Solo movies – Iron Man (2008), Iron Man 2 (May 7, 2010)
Tony Stark is an industrialist playboy and genius engineer who suffers a severe heart injury during a kidnapping in which his captors attempt to force him to build a massively destructive weapon. He instead creates a powered suit of armor to save his life and escape captivity. He later decides to use the suit to protect the world as Iron Man. Through his multinational corporation, Stark Industries, Tony created military weapons and his own metal suit is laden with technological devices that enable him to fight crime.
Thor – Chris Hemsworth (Star Trek)

Solo movie – Thor (May 6, 2011)
Thor’s father Odin decides his son needs to be taught humility and consequently places Thor (without memories of godhood) into the body and memories of an existing, partially disabled human medical student, Donald Blake. After becoming a doctor and on holiday in Norway, Blake witnesses the arrival of an alien scouting party. Blake flees into a cave, and after discovering Thor’s disguised hammer Mjolnir, and striking it against a rock, transforms into the Thunder God. Defeating the aliens, Thor shares a double life with his alter ego: treating the ill in a private practice with nurse – and eventual love – Jane Foster and defending humanity from evil.
The Hulk – Edward Norton (Fight Club)

Solo movie – Incredible Hulk (2008)
The Hulk is the emotional and impulsive alter ego of the withdrawn and reserved physicist Dr. Bruce Banner. The Hulk appears shortly after Banner is accidentally exposed to the blast of a test detonation of a gamma bomb he invented. Subsequently, Banner will involuntarily transform into the Hulk, depicted as a giant, raging, humanoid monster, leading to extreme complications in Banner’s life.
