The 2009 Oscars!

Congratz to ‘Slumdog Millionaire‘ for the winning 8 oscars including Best Picture and Best Director.
I was betting on it to win big in this year’s oscars….actually, it’s the only movie among the best picture nominees that i’ve seen 
. I watched the early part of the live telecast (I fell asleep…it was about 2-3am in UK) and even from the first few minutes, I knew that this was going to be a special Oscar night. Here are some of favourite oscar moments:
Hugh Jackman’s opening number:
Hugh Jackman has natural charisma as host and that opening number was hilarious!! From ‘the Dark Knight not getting a nomination’ joke to his duet with Anne Hathaway.

Jack Black and his joke about Dreamworks and Pixar.
Btw, I knew Wall E would win but Kung Fu Panda is much better personally.

Ben Kingsley’s speech about Mickey Rourke (@ 4:22)
Rourke didn’t win though despite being the top contender.
